The CO-OPS 2009 National Workshop

The CO-OPS Secretariat has planned the 2009 National Workshop with a focus on:

  • Maximising the opportunity for CO-OPS sites to share their project findings
  • Presenting a range of keynote speakers around current research and findings and,
  • Workshopping the useability of the Best Practice Principles so far

A main theme that came out of the feedback from the 2008 National Workshop and CO-OPS Road-show workshops earlier in 2009 was that practitioners wanted a chance to present on their projects and share their experiences. The CO-OPS Secretariat has recognised this and made it a priority of the 2009 Workshop.

CO-OPS is offering practitioners the chance to share their case studies and have them published in a case study storybook, due for print in 2010. As attendee numbers for the National Workshop are limited, priority will be given to those who submit a case study submission for consideration. Please refer to second attachment for the workshop registration and case study summary submission.

Please note that there is no registration cost to attend the CO-OPS National Workshop, however those wishing to attend will need to pay for their own travel and accommodation.

As numbers are limited, please do not make any travel or accommodation arrangements until receiving confirmation of your attendance, via a return email from CO-OPS.

The CO-OPS Secretariat will also be hosting a complimentary networking cocktail hour from 5-6 pm, at the completion of day one, and would like to invite all participants to join us.

All workshop registrations, case study summaries and, cocktail networking RSVP's, are to be returned by the C.O.B. 30th October 2009 to Emma Smitten admin@co-ops.net.au
