Background
Nation-wide consultations in August-September 2008 suggested that sites within the CO-OPS network felt uncertain about the accessibility of evidence in various content areas. It was agreed that development of tailored evidence summaries may support decision-making and a list of priority topics was compiled (e.g. potential for harm, interventions for promoting healthy weight, healthy eating and/or physical activity, evidence on particular settings).
At the National Workshop in October 2008, three sites were selected to further explore topics of interest and collaboratively develop evidence summaries in partnership with Elizabeth Waters, Rebecca Conning, Rebecca Armstrong and Rachel Clark from the McCaughey Centre: VicHealth Centre for the Promotion of Mental Health and Community Wellbeing at the University of Melbourne.
The three evidence summaries can now be downloaded by registered users of the website here
